Tattoo removal tends to be very expensive and a luxury many are unable to afford.  Typically, tattoo removal is charged per tattoo, per treatment at a cost of hundreds of dollars every session.  Since tattoo removal takes several treatments and time, this can cost thousands of dollars for a single tattoo that takes seconds to treat.
